Veronique de Jongh owns the largest sand collection in Belgium. The interest of the hobby lying in the variety of texture, colour, mineralogy and location. Palau was one of the few missing pieces in her impressive collection. Minister-Counsellor Kenny Gibbons Reklai (Prince of Koror) recently brought some white sand from Palau. HE Ambassador Jeraldine Tudong officially presented it to the sand collector and promised her support in contacting the missing Pacific countries. And in attendance and witnessing this amazing event is a Palauan Friend, Mr. Melusech Ueki who is currently visiting Belgium.
