After more than six months of preparation, Palau Airways launched its maiden flight between Palau and Taipei at 11am, May 6th, under code P7601.

Palau Airways uses Boeing 757-200, with carrying capacity of 206 passengers, for scheduled flights between Palau and Taiwan. It operates four times per week (From Taipei: 11am local time Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and from Palau: 5pm local time Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).

Within one year, Palau Airways, hope to creates new destinations in other Asian countries and intensify flight schedules to daily.
